WK (WH) CRD Scan gauge or dash Hawk?

I bit the bullet and ordered my Spider chip today and would like to fit something like one of these units Scan gauge II or dash Hawk? to keep and eye on EGT, Trans temp etc
Does any one have any experience with these units?
The Scangauge II is a local Ozzy product and is around $150 cheaper than the Dash hawk but in order to read EGT, Trans Temp you need to input the codes into the unit.
Does anybody know where i can get these codes?
see sample below

My understand of the scan gauge is that there are separate computers for the eng & gearbox. I was going to buy one for towing a 23' van and wanted to keep an eye on the trans temp,
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one

Re: WK (WH) CRD Scan gauge or dash Hawk?

I have a dashhawk, got it from a member on another jeep site for $200. I don't have the EGT probe, instead I display the DPF temperature which is pretty close to exhaust temperature. The dashhawk does data logging. I don't know a whole lot about the scan guage so I cannot comment on what it does. It seems most CRD drivers on the north american forums have the dashhawk.
In the WK CRD, the dashhawk CANNOT do:
1) oil temperature (only transmission and coolant temperatures)
2) EGR values
3) DPF regeneration status
These would be nice, they are displayed for other vehicles, but aren't displayed in the WK CRD.

the scangauge II cannot seem to do much for the CRD, at least from what I see on their website.
