A recent old school 993 C4S and Ferrari F40.

Just prepped for sale, not a concourse car, but fun nonetheless.

Not sure how well this shot shows, but the fuel door indicates the original condition of the paint. Rough...

Hood was a train wreck, two passes with a rotary and M105 to give it some clarity.

Fender

All ended up ok.

My summer is booked. Its getting tough to do a thorough write up, but thats what the winters are for!

I have a nice 1992 Ferrari F40 in the works for the Fairfield CT Concourse on Sept 12th. Videos, etc to follow.

Re: A recent old school 993 C4S.

I haven't started the councours prep yet. That is just the standard appearance of the car. I am in the process of making a schedule to have it ready by Sept 12th.

The last F40 I did took three days to correct after just one bad wash.

The car is very low, the polishers do not fit on many panels, and that back window takes hours to get completely clear. Not to mention the car is irreplaceable and worth about $600k, makes it a real pleasure.

Re: A recent old school 993 C4S.

WOW...I love the exhaust on the F40...I will never forget when i saw it first in person. And my dad had a 98 C4S...last air-cooled porsche, it had motorsound and with the turbo widebody/wheels/brakes that car is sweet...I miss the old-sound of porsches!

Re: A recent old school 993 C4S.

Love Porsches! I miss the air cooled porsches before they engines went water-cooled.

Love the F40.. first time I saw one, it was racing a F50 down the street side-by-side.
Hand to God.
