No such thing as "best". Plenty of great products and millions of reviews about them around the net. There's a detailing forum that's very informative with reviews on products new and old.
I use sealants for.protection and wax as a beauty coat....lol. my sealants of choice are meguiers #21 and blackfire wet diamond topped with adams americana
I'm a huge fan of Dodo Juice products....need for speed is great for a quick cleaning and wax, then if I'm feeling frisky I top that with a coat of Collinite. Results speak for themselves
You can get great results with various products, in my opinion it's more about technique.
i used wolfgang total swirl remover 3.0, then finish glaze 3.0 and deep gloss paint sealant on my wife's jet black BMW. topped it with 4 coats of pinnacle souveran. it was a thing of beauty till she ran it through a car wash 2 weeks later while i was out of town.
Esoteric Signature Series Wax. Never seen black look better. So easy, little goes a loong way. It's pricey but it held up in ohio winter very well, and think it looks better than Zymol, Blackfire Wet Diamond, pretty much everything I've tried. Bad thing is, I'm so into coatings now, I don't get to use it much. But I would say it's up there at the top. Had to do some polishing, Gtechniq panel wipe, then Esoteric Wax...
Here it is on my charger after I stripped off Gtechniq Exo V2. Then I stripped this off after a couple months and put on 22PLE VX1 Pro topped with Kamikaze Overcoat.
Out here in Arizona, where the temperatures are very high in the Summer, along with the high UV light, the Polymer based sealers and polishes are the way to go over waxes of any type. They just last far longer. And I'm finding they give a deeper shine. I do use a "Wash As-U-Dry" product after every wash. It seems to help make the shine last longer.
I've been using Nu Finish with good results. I'm sure there are similar products, and some of them may in fact be better. But Nu Finish is perhaps the best known one out there. Although they advertise it as, "The once a year car polish", I would never let it go that long. I put those claims right up there with the 25,000 mile oil changes. I'll let other people prove them right with their vehicles.

Yes, but I found it wipes off much easier than wax if you should happen to get a bit of it on the black trim. I've had some waxes over the years, that I had to use Kerosene to get it off. Not so with Nu Finish.
Another very subjective and opinionated topic. So I will just show you a very small portion of my detailing arsenal. I have and always will stand behind these 3 products. You will not be disappointed in there results. I cannot vouch for Nufinish as I have never used it and most certainly never will. But I do not want to get into any sort of post debate on the subject. So I will leave you with use whatever you feel comfortable with as long as your happy with the results.
Polish: Menzeruna 2500,3500 and Power lock. All their products finish very well and are super easy to work with my DA.
Wax: Wolfgang Fuzion estate wax (top coat). Little pricey @ $60 for 3oz, but it's worth every penny. Best part is that it does NOT stain black trim whatsoever and takes little to no effort to remove.
Also been thinking about trying some Ammo products.
That's not what you said on page 1

As far as products I am a big fan of Blackfire Wet Diamonds stuff.
Remember it all starts though, regardless of what products you use with a proper wash and then clay bar of the entire vehicle. You'll never get the shine the paint has potential for if you don't clay it first.
Just tried Meguire's ultimate liquid wax and am happy with the results. It was the most expensive wax at Target, but it did put a nice shine on our black forest green WK2. The green seems to pop more in the bright sun, but maybe that's just my imagination.
