Nothing too expensive for my Jeep!

Re: Best methods of cleaning black trim

If the black trim is not too dirty, APC and a brush will do the job and you can repeat the (spray, scrub and rinse) process a few times as necessary.

If it's too dirty/faded/wax stained, try Mothers Back to Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner.

For protection I prefer CarPro Dlux coating for the long lasting protection. There are many good trim dressing/protection products out there by Optimum, Wolfgang, Ultima, Meguiars and many other brands but typically a dressing needs to be applied more frequently than a long lasting coating.

Re: Best methods of cleaning black trim

Adams detail spray when drying my Jeep looks better than anything I have ever seen on my black trim. I like it to look clean and not shinny.
