Re: Best tire dressing??

I should've said on the jeep it lasted being driven everyday in winter, the charger doesn't go out in the snow. There were days the tires were literally white with salt, pull in the spray and wash to spray the jeep down, and the tires would be clean.

Here's some pics of applying T1 to some tires of a car I detailed last month.

Re: Best tire dressing??

I have been using Chemical Guys VRP dressing and really like it. It lasts a while and does not sling. It is not super shinny at all

Chemical Guys TVD_107_16 - V.R.P. Super Shine Dressing (16 oz) VRP

This. I use Chemical Guys, but also use Adams VRT. Also good for the black plastic trim.

Re: Best tire dressing??

Yep, Super VRT is our solution here. Water based so it won't sling, and leaves a satin finish, not slimy, greasy one.

That being said, we may or may not have another option that may or may not be released sometime soon....

Re: Best tire dressing??

I ordered some of the VRP dressing, should arrive today. I've tried so many dressings, and I've found that if it lasts a long time it either slings or it's one of those new "coating" type which I tried and then spent the next week scrubbing off. I wash my car all the time and have no issue applying tire dressing each time. My current favorite is Poorboys Natural.

^ This stuff has been the best tire dressing I've ever used. The best part is that it isn't super shiny and doesn't sling it all over the side of my Jeep. Hooray!

And it also brought the plastic trim back to a better than new, deep finish. Very impressed and highly recommended.

Re: Best tire dressing??

I just ordered some Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel. We'll see how well it works. I like a satin finish as opposed to gloss, and from what I read the Opti-bond is not as glossy.
