Nice finishes Joe! I also try lots of sealers. Current finish on my Overland is Opti Seal. It's a real wipe on and walk away finish that seems to last about 6 months. I especially like it for the wheels because it's so easy to use. I also use it on the windows...it acts like Rain-x only better. My wife's car is over due for sealer and that Glare stuff that Realistic Detailer (aka Mr RD) posted looks interesting. I'm going to look for the best price.

Opti Seal is a polymer finish that bonds with the paint. It does give a shiny wet look finish, but it is a paint sealant which does protect the finish from contaminants

Gtechniq has spray on wipe off products that have no cure times, and you can use on paint, glass, trim, metal. Pure, 2coats lasts up to 8 months, you can also dilute it down and use as a QD to top up. I use all their products, easy to use, and the stuff lasts. I have a little bit of almost every brand for a little of everything...I like some tire shine better than others, some QD works better on glass or chrome than others, etc and it varies by car, some cars take to some brands better than others.

Realistic Detailer: I was not mocking you, and meant no disrespect.... Mr R.D. is merely a shortened version of your screen name. As for your opinions on paint treatments, I actually agree with much of what you are saying...as would many, if not most of the members around here. Merry Christmas ang Happy New Year!

Thank you for saying that. It is nice to finally be on a forum where ideas about detailing can be shared to help people protect their second most important purchase next to their home.
