best way to remove scratches from lower door panel

What's the best way you guys have to remove those scratches in the lower door panel that are caused by wife`s shoes getting in and out of the car...

I tried just a damp towel and it didn't help much...

just be careful, the paint can be thin and easy to go right thru.

I installed nerf bars to step on to and I still have shoe scratches. Next step is to polish and then install clear film like lamin-x.

I meant the internal panel, I had no issues so far on the outside. most affected area is right outside of the cup holder

Re: best way to remove scratches from lower door panel

removing scratches/scuffs on plastic panels is best done with a heat gun. I did it myself after watching an episode of Trucks! (http://www.powerblocktv.com/episodes...and-paint-prep) skip to minute 12:00

you may need to post a picture of the scratch so we can confirm the best advice on repairing.
