Its good but I would use dilluted Simple Green to clean. And then to shine it up I would spray armor all all over the place and then drive around. THe result when you do that.

I've used the 2-1 and like it but it didn't come out like Joe's engine! Joe, so you spray with simple green, let it soak then power wash it? After that do you then douse it in armor all then drive around?
I spray with simple green, let it sit for 5 minutes and then powerwash. After I powerwash, I dry up the excess water and then I spray armor all all over the place.
I use that 2in1 stuff and love it. The "shine" part about it totally blows balls but the cleaning is fantastic and it can be used on warm engines!! That's what I love about it. I don't powerwash the engine though. I just use a hose with a gun set on "shower". I don't like that much powerful water to get into areas you don't want them to. I use the Armour All Natural Finish. It doens't leave everything greasy. It's water based vs. chemical based. Leaves a great look.
i just bought some of this a week or two ago, just been waiting for a good day to do it. gonna take a while though, my engine has never been cleaned !!
Joe could i use the Megs natural shine on the engine after the simple green? I just bought a bottle but it sorta comes out like a gel idk if that would work on the engine, but it sure works awesome on the interior!!
