My guess is that you didn't thoroughly clean the tires before hand and/or there is a heavy build up of silicone on the surface from previous dressings. I'd highly recommend cleaning the tires with a cleaner like the TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner
and a good scrub brush (ie TUF SHINE Tire Brush
). Spray it on and scrub the tires thoroughly and rinse when you are done. To do a really good job this usually takes me 2 - 4 rounds. When you are done just about any tire dressing will work much better.
I also have to recommend the TUF SHINE Tire Clearcoat
if you want something super durable. It will last months easily and looks incredible with two coats. Hope this info helps!
