cleaning wheel wells

I've been having some issues getting my wheel wells clean lately, no matter how hard I scrub (also tried powerwashing up in there too to rinse everything away)

so how do you guys get that all cleaned out. I'm tired of seeing that grime there after everything else is so clean and beautiful.

edit: considering chemical guys fade 2 black, so if anyone has tried that let me know if it's worth ordering

Re: cleaning wheel wells

I used to spray Simple Green in the wheel well of my Magnum and that used to work well.

Re: cleaning wheel wells

The Chemical Guys Black on Black (aka Fade 2 Black) is a great product for the wheel wells, engine bay, trim, etc. It's super easy to use and if you get any over spray on the paint, wheels, etc. just wipe it off within the first few minutes and you'll have no issues at all.

Check out this awesome article on this product with some great pics too!

Another great choice for wheel wells and the under carriage is the Chemical Guys Bare Bones Undercarriage Spray. It protects the surface and adds a like new finish! Check out this article if you have time - Product Review: Chemical Guys Bare Bones – Detailed Image

As always we offer 10% off (code 10offJG) OR $4.99 s/h min spend $49 (code DI499) OR Free S/H min spend $149 (code DIFREE). Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help.

Re: cleaning wheel wells

Greg, would the Bare Bones be good to use on the inside of the Jeep Grand Cherokee mud guards? I don't like them looking dirty. The inside surface is not flat but has "compartments" to add rigidity. Unfortunately these compartments also hold dried mud and are difficult to get clean without removing the tires/wheels.

Thanks.

Re: cleaning wheel wells

Get a gallon of Chemical Guys Barebones from somewhere and you'll never look back. Well worth the money!
