With the winter coming, I really want to still keep up on washing my own truck. Have anyone used this system? I just don't know how well it will work with cleaning the road salt off of the car.
Im not sure if the brand is Griots, but i remember talking to Irf about the waterless wash and it works. I think ill buy a bottle and try it out this winter too!
Never used it, but IMO Optimum No Rinse is where it's at.
Use it like your normal car wash but you don't need to rinse just dry the panel after the wash. To pre-wash you can put some in a pump sprayer if the car is fairly dirty.
Leaves a very slick finish, I use it now and then even in Summer when I can't be bothered bringing out the hose/PW etc. Will be my Winter wash method.
I think in the winter, you will still have to atleast rinse off the heavy stuff, I've asked Griots about it, and they recommended especially with heavy dried salt in winter, probably best to go to a spray wash, spray the heavy off first. I have it for stuff heavier than what I would use a detailer for(dust, light bird crap) and use it on things like water spots, or heavy bird crap. I still no matter who's product, have a hard time not using regular wash method for anything more than light dust, especially on black.
Just tried optimum no rinse and this stuff works great! I have washed my Jeep and the wife's car several times and for a cold weather garage wash I'm very pleased.
What is this stuff? You just spray it on and then wipe it down with a cloth? It doesn't scratch the paint? It actually works?
I've been living in an apartment for six years, washing at the coin car wash, and now that I'm moving to a house with a driveway in a few months I find out about this stuff :\

Optimum No Rinse is a concentrated solution you add to a bucket of water. You wash one panel at a time and dry each as well. I only use this stuff when it's too cold to wash my vehicles outside, so I can wash them in my garage. Check out this link
