Nice job! I have used a buffer but would have been scared to use the sand paper.

Can't do any harm really, just don't move the paper in circles. The plastic is very thick and it would take an age to go through.

I did start nevously though, last time I wet sanded my hood it had to be resprayed - the paint thickness gauge was ordered the following week.

Never heard of that stuff before, looks a lot quicker to use than doing three coats of sealant right enough. Don't think we get it here but will take a look around the detailing stores.

Thankfully we don't get the sun here so UV isn't much of an issue. LOL
