Re: How clean is your engine bay

OMG, did I see someone actually painted the windshield fluid cap red?? Lol.

I just got some red paint I want to do the upper sway bar with instead of the stock black, and I like the look of SS braided hoses so im wondering if they sell just sleeves to slide over existing lines.

Re: How clean is your engine bay

On the special edition it came painted.. cool huh.. J/k I've never seen or heard of sleeves to slide over the existing lines. But hopefully someone else will be able to better answer.

^^Hows that intake sound on your jeep. I had it installed on my Ram and it was loud! Nice though.

Re: How clean is your engine bay

I use some wheel cleaner and brush where I can. Then a gentle spray on everything with the hose.

Cover up your PCM, then use diluted Simple Green to de-grease and de-dirt (lol). From the looks of it, that will take 3 or 4 times to de-grease. LOL

After you are satisfied with the de-greasing, then spray Meguiars Natural Shine all over the place and drive the vehicle around the block 4 times. Park the vehicle and open the hood. You should see a very very clean engine bay.

All of this clean engine bay talk makes me want to clean mine.

Simple Green doesn't effect the alternator?
