How much weight can the hood take?

I figure i would post this in here because the jeep will be really well detailed before the pictures are taken. My wife and i have been toying with the idea of having her pose on the hood of my wk in a bathing suite. My wife is what i consider to be a small woman. Id guess about 115 lbs ish. (Schhh dont tell her i said that or told you guys that she might kill me lol)

Can the WK hood take the weight? I know is aluminum so i was unsure how much it can handle. I know its also about positioning and making sure she has we weight over the reinforced parts of the under hood.

Has anyone else done this?

DONT WORRY, I WILL POST PICS IN THE SUMMER WHEN WE DO THIS!

This was the jeep we got the idea from. its a JU forum Member.

Re: How much weight can the hood take?

The bathing suit will be a little too much weight. She must be naked.

Re: How much weight can the hood take?

Awesome, you'll be totally fine, wouldn't recommend standing on it though.

Just make sure you take some QD and MFs with you prior to your wife sitting on the hood as any dust/dirt etc, will leave behind scratches.

Re: How much weight can the hood take?

Thanks Marty. I deff don't want that. I'm hoping to have a full exterior paint correction done prior to doing this. We just need to find the right place to do it since we can drive on the beaches around here.

We are also going to have her pose on her horses back. Once spring/summer comes well get this done and stop the tease...
