Had a repair done on a truck.a few years ago, they told me 30 days for a wax

Don't wait get it waxed immediately all modern paint is cured as soon as it leaves the factory. The sooner you seal it with a good quality wax the less crap gets in and attacks the paint.

Had drivers side repainted on mine on December...girl at front desk said 45 days....went into the shop and they said yes...its 45 days....might be the paint they use but they said you can't seal it as it will never cure if you do

That's true because it won't be repaired the same way it was painted originally and also you'd never get a car from the factory within 45 days after it was painted ��
