Interior Cleaning

Well today I decided since I got the day off from work, I would try and clean the seats a little in the Jeep. HA..

I tried using the Bissle Little Green Machine on a seat and you couldn't imagine the color and amount of CRAP that came out.. Problem is, it still didn't get it all, I can still see some stains from my 18mo old and plus, its 100+ degrees outside and it got old really, really fast going over the same spots over and over, and over and over.. lol

Has anyone taken their jeep to a shop to have the seats and carpet professionally cleaned? If so, how much did it run you?

Re: Interior Cleaning

I dont know how to help, But i do know that every detailing shop has told me that cloth Wk seats are the worst to get clean and they show dirt very very fast.

Re: Interior Cleaning

Yeah I was worried about that with my limited seats. There's suade in the middle. I scotch guarded it when I first got the jeep but it doesn't protect it forever.

Re: Interior Cleaning

I was also thinking that maybe the price of keeping these damn cloth seats clean is going to be in the hundreds over the time I have it, maybe I should just invest in some katz skin leather replacement covers or something. I called one place called the wash tub here, they charge $59 for a carpet/seat shampoo.. not too bad I guess?

Do it! I used to install those kits all the time at my old work. They are such nice kits and very very good quality. Not to mention that you can get them pretty much how ever you want them to look. Monotone, 2 tone, perforated inserts, suede inserts, carbon fiber look inserts, colored stitches, colored piping, embroidered. etc.
