Leather in 2014

Hey guys,

So I take absolutely amazing care of our Jeep, but have noticed the seat is looking rather bad.....my 125lb wife drives it the majority of the time and the car only has 4,000 miles on it. I realize this isn't the greatest leather, but do others look like this and is there any fix other than complaining to Jeep directly?

Re: Leather in 2014

If you are referring to the wrinkles in the bolster, Jeep will tell you it is normal ... because it is. I think it may show up earlier in Jeeps than some other vehicles because the bolsters are higher than normal. Probably to keep you in the seat when you go rock climbing.

Yeah I suppose they are high bolsters, I've always had sporty cars with sport seats and this is the worst I've seen, especially this early on. Just as background I've used Zaino leather in a bottle since day 1

Not sure how much rock climbing I'll be doing in the SRT 😄

I have a 2014 SRT and my seat looks exactly the same. The good news is that it has looked like that since first month and it was one year october 1 and it looks the same and has not gotten any worse

The leather quality is about the only thing I'm not pleased with on the car. Should have opted for the full leather but I wanted black. I've had the car since April and it just turned 4k miles so it's definitely not from abuse!
