New jeep water spots, Help!

I purchased a new Grand Cherokee High Altitude 2 weeks ago. I did a 2 bucket wash last Saturday and after a week of sitting in my driveway with over spray from my sprinklers it was water stopped to the moon. Living in California and dealing with the drought conditions I'm not able to do a normal 2 bucket every week so I did my first ONR wash. The dirtiness of the vehicle cleans up great but the water spots still remain. I'm hoping for a few suggestions on how to remove and prevent this from happening every week. I'm going to try and adjust the sprinklers to eleminate the problem but I'm new to detailing and could use some other advice.

Re: New jeep water spots, Help!

Adding some distilled white vinegar to your car wash soap mixture should remove the water spots, also great on the windows. However, please keep in mind that the white vinegar will most like strip some, if not all, of any wax protectant you added to the paint. So it's probably a good idea to apply a fresh coat of wax to your Jeep afterwards.

after doing a little more research on the vinegar deal I poured a 25/75 (vinegar/water) mixture in a spray bottle and went to town. Did a quick wash then sprayed then worked section by section, spraid with mixture let sit for a minute, wiped clean, then finished of with a quick detail mixture of ONR. Looks great removed most if not all spots, was getting dark so the visibility was limited. I'll do a once over in the morning to make sure it's all good, and she's going to get a fresh wax this weekend, thank you for the suggestion? I also decided we are close enough to winter that the lawn can fend for itself and sprinkler timer has been turned off. And will

Why not park in a different spot or set irrigation to go on when your not there.

Re: New jeep water spots, Help!

Well that would seem be the easiest solution right? The Jeep is purely a weekend warrior and doesn't leave the driveway during the week so there realy is no set time that I could run the sprinklers and I'm unwilling to park on the street because I live at the end of a cul-de-sac and have cars constantly turning around in front of my house. I just cant put the jeeps safety In the hands of other drivers doing 3 point turns.
