No problem with that. I still enjoy applying a coat of wax. I walked outside last weekend, it felt like spring and I was drawn to cabinet with the car wash supplies.

That being said, I'm sure there is a crafty way you could attach a wash pad to the end of telescoping pole...somehow. I'd love to see a prototype.
I hate the very sound of the word, but Walmart has what you're looking for. It's about a four or six ft telescoping pole with a 4" x 8" pad at the end which you put a MF "bonnet" on. I actually plan to pick one up just to do my roof on my next trip to the nightmare that is Walmart!

Target has em too. That's where I picked mine up from but it's not as good as the Adams pad.

I fully understand...I only go there because the medical insurance I have at work pretty much forces me to fill my perscriptions there, but I hate the coprporation...I hate the stores and the trashy people in them, and I hate the crappy Chinese goods they have there. I think they are a real sign of what went wrong with America!

Yeah I hate going to walmarts because of the trashy people. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. I always feel a little unclean going into a Walmart store. Walmarts were banned from my city for the past 20yrs until the new mayor made a change. Only thing I have gone to a walmart for are car accessories, oil is cheap, batteries are cheap and come with a 3 yr exchange policy, and car covers are cheap. Wouldn't buy anything else from them.

I live in San Diego. Several years ago, Wallmart wanted to open some "Superstores" in San Diego county. The county commissioners voted solidly not to allow this because they would monopolize the entire retail business. So Walmart simply took their existing stores, squeezed those narrow aisles even tighter, and added full grocery store capabilites to their stores! The bastards won't be happy until they take over everything!

Re: Polishing Advice

I must be a trashy person. I buy most of my packaged food from Walmart. The store is clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the prices are way below the competition.

I've asked a number of employees about the working conditions. They all said they were treated well. They also all mentioned that they have an extraordinary store manager. I know he spends a lot of time on the floor interacting with customers and employees.

It could be it's proximity to the air force base makes a difference. Always see people in uniform shopping there.

It all depends on where you live. If the store is truly the way you say it is, you're one lucky dude. That means the people who live near you are actually decent people who care about their area and the people in it. I live in New Jersey where there are some really rude people who couldn't give two shits about the store or the customers. A lot of the shoppers are the same way. I shouldn't have trashed Walmart like that, but it all depends on your location. Since Jersey is the most populated state per square mile it is a very trash place to shop.

That wonderful store has single handedly done more to close mom and pop stores and small family businesses across America than any single factor. That nice little downtown area that used to have a little hardware store, drug store, grocery, sporting goods store, candy store, etc now probably has a bus station and a few gin mills. It's what happens sooner or later in each town the set up shop.

Re: Polishing Advice

Got around to start the correction process. I am using Meguiar's M105 and M205. I tried the Chemical Guy's V series but it was doing the job.

I am using CG's Hex Pad. Started off with the orange with the M105. I am about 5 hours into it and only half done with the M105.

The scratches doesn't appear to be that deep but its taking a bit of time to cut through. I am not sure if its the pad or my technique.

But here's a few photos.
