Pro-line V. Consumer line
Can someone here help me decipher? There is a lot of talk about M105 and 205, ultimate compound, glazes, sealants, waxes, etc. Here's what I currently have in stock in my arsenal:
Megs Paint Cleaner
Megs Deep Crystal Polish (Step 2)
Megs Ultimate Compound
Megs NXT 2.0 Liquid "tech wax"
My question is, what do these items compare to in the pro line? Is the ultimate compound like an M205? Does the Deep Crystal Polish compare to their #7 glaze in the pro line? Is my "wax" really a sealant that I should chase with a carnuba wax?
I ask because finding pro-series stuff isn't as easy as being able to pick up a bottle of whatever at my local Zone, when I'm there getting oil, or whatever, and I don't want to pay shipping for pro-line stuff if in the end, it compares to the consumer stuff. I also take exceptionally good care of my vehicles and am not restoring a really bad finish. I subscribe heavily to the "maintain often" method.
So, can someone on here that knows these products please translate what I currently have on my shelf to the closest pro-line name?
