Saddle Interior Protectant- best product?

I hear you have to baby the saddle interior more than black or tan (ie maintain it). I'm real picky about the left side of the driver seat getting worn out. I have a 2008 Denali and the seat, eventhough i try to be very careful, cracks on the side after a year or so of entering and exiting. What is the best product to use to keep the front seat from cracking or wearing out when you get in and out of the jeep?

Re: Saddle Interior Protectant- best product?

I'm extremely picky of leather products and truly dislike most on the market because they alter the appearance, adding shine, changing feel characteristics etc to the leather once applied.

This is the best leather cleaner in the business. Apply it with a microfiber towel soaked in water so the towel is moderately soaking wet. Spray the leather cleaner onto the seat and wipe with the soaking towel. The cleaner will suds up and simply let water/soap mixture air dry and watch the magic happen. In addition to cleaning / feeding the leather, wrinkles in the leather will tighten right up and look like no one ever sat in the seat.

I have used this technique over and over on black leather seats on my Benz, Porsche, ZR1 etc.

I was wondering the same thing. Does the zymol spray act as a protection or does it just simply clean?

I purchased 303 Aero protectant, haven't tried it yet however but it has great reviews..

If you want some free samples, for $7 bucks (shipping you get a couple of their products..)

The Zymol conditioner as well as Zaino leather conditioner, lexol, etc all suck the big one. They change the look of leather and make it look artificial, basically like shit.

To answer your question..

The Zymol cleaner has some light conditioners and that works for someone picky like me. But.. If you are looking for the best conditioner that does not alter the appearance then you need this conditioner. It soaks into the hyde & dries with completely flat finish.

Re: Saddle Interior Protectant- best product?

I tried the Meguiar's since I do like their waxes and polishes but the leather care is too greasy and gives my interior a funky mildue smell.

Ok Tony, don't feel pressured, but I ordered a bottle of this stuff on your recommendation ! If the saddle leather on the dash of my Summit curls up and peels off I'll be sure to let ya know.....

The 303 works great. I have a 2007 A3 and the leather still looks brand new b/c of this stuff.
