Scuff marks on driver's door kick panel?

Just picked up a '14 GC Overland, and during my inspection of the Jeep - I noticed the driver's door plastic kick panel had evident scuff marks. These did not clean up with any liquid type of spray and wipe - or using a Magic Eraser.

To me it looks like the plastic was slightly scratched and since the Morroco black door was scuffed like this, the marks appear as whitish lines.

Does anyone have suggestions of how to cover these? If I can't get it to my satisfaction - dealer agreed at purchase to replace the part. Thanks.

I used a pencil eraser and brushed the crumbs off, then cleaned lightly with Magic Eraser and wiped with a microfiber cloth. After that I used some black dressing applied lightly on microfiber, wiping lightly over the white scuff marks. I think I could use Mother's Back to Black and it would help.

What I did worked pretty well and made the scuff marks nearly unnoticeable. I need to get a more uniform "dressing" to cover the blemishes in the plastic, then lightly buff it out by hand. So far it is a big improvement.
