Re: Vinyl Decal
For normal washing you don't need to do anything special. A couple times per year I have found best way to remove water spots, grime etc. is with a clay bar. I looked at many other forums and people were doing multi-step procedures with special cleaners & waxes - kind of dangerous for the vinyl. The clay gently lifts off everything and leaves the original flat black finish. If you are not already clay baring you Jeep and cars (painted finish) then you are in for a wonderful surprise - no detailing trick is better. Your wax will glide on an buff up perfectly after claying the paint.
My decal is the standard hood flat black with red trim on a 2013 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.
