My neighbor works for Griots Garage and saw me detailing my Beast on Saturday before heading to the track, she asked what I use for car care products and when I responded "Mothers" she had a fit with me. LOL! Being she works for Griots so it makes sense. She proceeds to ask I f Id be interested in some high end products to which I said yes but since Im well stocked with Mothers its hard to justify at this point. She ended up setting me up an appointment for today to go to Griots and learn how to use their polishers and products. The coolest part of it besides the excellent info I received was having the guys there falling all over the Beast. Turns out someone other than me loves the brilliant black! I considered this a real compliment since in the showroom sits the owners Gulf Oil Ford GT. Towards the end Griots head detailer came in and went over the Beast with a fine tooth comb and I think was seriously going to look for a nice used one. Keep in mind this guy does every detail for their catalog and calender shoots as well as local rods for magazine shoots. For me being there, I think I found man land heaven!

I mentioned to them about being supporting vendors here so maybe we can all get some sort of deals on Griots products. I did not get any free products. Just the free car care clinic. All of Griots products are made by them and right here in the USA!

Absolutely! You can call there Harvey and set up a clinic whenever you want, believe me its worth the gas to go there, plus the car collection there is off the hook! After we did the hood with the polisher the guys set up a LED flashlight on a highboy toolbox and due to the metal flake in my paint it danced like a star in the night in my paint, way bad ass!!!!

I just saw Griots products in the autoanything book that came today. Never even heard of this stuff before.

That is cool that you got the tutorial and had all the positive attention for the jeep.

I used their 6" and 3" DA with the Griots one step, I used #2 polish where I deleted my badges in the front as you could see an imprint of the jeep in the paint, also used the tire cleaner and tire prep which was excellent stuff. Also some undercarriage cleaner prep for the wheel wells and I gotta say wow seeing that whole area dressed! They have a sweet kit with both DA's and a gang of products and microfiber towels for around 350 so once I get home off the boat in August I will go that route.
