Re: WJ Jeep Rejuv.

Well done! I am so glad that you did the plastic. That is one thing that always breaks my heart to see... A Really clean WJ (or any vehicle) with nasty chipped of really dull plastic.
Way to finish it off right

Thanks man! It took extra time and effort but in the end it had to be done to finish off that final look it needed. IMO this is a must for anyone who is looking to revamp the look of their rig. I did this all for under $50 and plus my time.

Re: WJ Jeep Rejuv.

Put this on another forum, sorry I didnt put it up here.

Incase you wanna do it heres what you need:

Krylon Fusion Satin Spray paint - $4.75 a can I used 5 for all moldings
3M Wet dry sandpaper - $5 at auto zone (already had them from other details)
Painters plastic - $10 (home depot, or just use newspaper)
Detail tape - you probably already have from details
Isopropyl Alcohol - $1 at target

Total : $39.75

I wrapped the whole car and I'm glad I did now cause after seeing my garage this spray paint had a lot of overspray, more than usual spray paint even. But hey for under 50 bucks.

-wash
-sand plastics with 1500 grit, light pressure
-IPA wipe down
-look for missed spots
-IPA wipe missed
-Tape off/cover
-Spray about 4-5 coats it took for mine to lay flat
-Let sit overnight, take off tape and covers
-Sit back and enjoy

Paint takes about a week to set fully but this krylon paint is great stuff, be sure to wear a mask or work in a well ventilated area when you go about doing it.

Let me know if you got any other questions!
