276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

Hello all. It's been awhile since I posted anything here. I took delivery of my 2010SRT8 in November and discovered that the kicker box had been stolen sometime during transit. The dealer replaced it, but now I question if the amp was stolen as well. Max volume on the display is 38. Does anyone know the location of the amp? I want to verify that it's there.

I have the following
SRT HIGH PERFORMANCE AUDIO AND NAVIGATION GROUP (Requires Option Group 1) ($1595 MSRP)
Includes:
11 Spkrs Kicker SRT High Perf Audio
200 Watt Kicker SRT Subwoofer
276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

and
SRT OPTION GROUP I (AY1) (requires sunroof) ($2045 MSRP)

Any help is appreciated.

Re: 276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

the amp is located in the left side of the rear cargo bay ... if you remove the panel there it should be screwed in there

it's pretty easy to remove

wkjeeps.com has good illustrations on removing that panel

good luck and sux that they jacked ur stuff

Re: 276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

its actually kind of a pain to get to and I doubt it was stolen if the sub was just a quick grab job

Re: 276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

Thanks for the prompt reply guys. Fortunately there is vent located on that side and using a flash light I was able to verify it was there....whew. Scottina08, your right, that looks like a pain in the ass to remove all that molding.

As always, I appreciate everyone's help.

Re: 276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

When I had the single sub, the amp was located with the sub box. I switch out to the dual sub and both amps are located within the box.

Roll Out!!

Re: 276 Watt Kicker SRT Amplifier

If you are talking about the Sub's speaker, then it is located in the sub box. If you are talking about the 8 channel speaker amp, then it is located under the left panel in the cargo area.
