Guys I'm in a bind my jeep would not start and pulled out the volt meter and sure enough the battery is dead and I have appointments all day and need the jeep. We dont have a mopar place anymore closest is an hour from here so I am stuck with the usual place like Pep Boys etc... I really dont want an Optima as their quality have gone down hill since being bought out a while back. I really want an Oddyssey battery and the Sears Platinum group is actually made by Oddyssey but I have no idea which one will fit. I need one that is an exact replacement to where when it drops in the Neg/Pos terminals are on the correct side, etc. ALSO (I'm at work now) need a pic of our battery so I can be sure of this.
here is the only pic of the battery in the car...in the SRT8 is it in the trunk? I don't know why but I feel like it is in a different spot...anyways here it is in a SMALL 5.7 hemi just in case HAHA
Thanks guys the LX SRT's are in the trunks but ours is the same as the 5.7 location. Joe the only problem I see with the Oddyssey is that the terminals are switched how do you get around that? Am I being stupid or do you simply just turn the batter the other way and all is good. So 34R will work on group 94R?

I hope there is some play in the Pos/Neg lines to pull it over that Sears battery to reach the terminals do you guys know if there is some play or slack to pull on?
Okay picked up the Sears Platinum P2 (oddyssey) for $183.00
Now install was not a simple drop in and strap it down and done job. First the new battery is smaller but it is wider from front to back so you have to shave down the back part that holds down the battery, no biggie used my dremel and put it in place.
Then realized that with the ends that we have on the pos/neg ground wires that I was going to have to bend that 90 degree end on both the pos/neg wires flat, WHY you ask. I had too pull ALL of the slack on the line to get the neg side to run around the batter and too reach the new spot that is now up front. I disconnected the actual mounting straps that go onto the neg/pos probes coming off the battery, bent the tabs on the wire ends and then connected them, it was tight but it works and doesnt look bad. Jeep started right up and now I have a MUCH better battery in place.
Now if the pos/neg terminals had been switched this install would have been really easy
