Question Dome lights stay on

The dome lights are staying on while driving now... No doors are open, no lights are turned on, and the dimmer switch is not on either. Have to disconnect the battery in order for the control modules to reset. Happened twice this week.

Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Re: Dome lights stay on

Do you have LEDs in there? That could be the problem.

If not, it could be the multifunction switch. $40 on rockauto.com.

Re: Dome lights stay on

That is cheaper than a control module for sure. Thank you.

I had an Expedition that would do that from time to time. The connection on the buttons that push when you close the door would stick. I sprayed a ltiile WD40 into the switch and worked them a little, problem solved...Just a suggestion, worked in my case and the cost is $00
