Hey guys,

I just got the Miller Special Tool 8512A for the underdrive pulley install.

So if you need to do this mod just ask and i'll ship you the tool ($5.00 for shipping), you use it, send it back. Figured it would help out members of the forum. So before you rent one or buy it just ask! :D Later!

Nate LOL...

We have four laptops at the house, only one is a Mac, I leave it in my room. I don't want the dogs to pull it off the table like that laptop in the photo :)

Oh just a FYI I used this tool to install the SLP UD pulley last week, I did have to unbolt the radiator fan and move it up (did not have to take it out of the bay) the tool is really long and the end of it was hitting the center of the radiator fan.

Also, we had to use a makeshift "spacer" (see photo in red) since our deep sockets would not stay on the tightening bolt for long without it. Just keep that in mind. If I could figure it out LOL you guys will be fine!

Downstate,

Is your offer to lend subject tool still open? I just joined this forum because your post came up on my Google search, however, I'm a member of LXforums.com.

Here's my story. I'm in the Air Force stationed in Germany, so access to auto parts stores or performance shops is virtually non-existent. I have a 2009 Challenger and I'll be installing a ProCharger Stage II supercharger kit around the third week of March. The Stage II kit requires an ATI aftermarket harmonic damper.

I've searched far and wide for Miller Special Tools 1023, 8512A and 8513A, but I can't find anyone who has the 8512A or 8513A in stock. When I contacted Miller Special Tools, they told me 8512A won't be available until April 8 and 8513A won't be available until March 22.

I completely understand if you rather not take a chance in lending me this tool, but if you should, I would be truly grateful. Actually, if you would consider selling it, I will give you what you paid for it, or even more if the price isn't too high, plus shipping.

My e-mail address is: joseph.ferrall@gmail.com

I tried to send you a PM, but I don't have enough posts yet, and I'd rather not spam your site just to get my post count up.

Thanks,

Joe
