Timmy,
I had 25% on my Titan for 5 years. No issues in MA.

I went with 18% which is actually 14% with the factory "tint". Matches the rear perfect.
I'll post some pictures for you Joe. You'll love it. Jeep is too dirty to photo right now and since it's been snowing since I left for NY on Wednesday, I think I have to wait a couple days to wash!
The exhaust pipes look like they have Salt lipstick on!

Two tint shops around me both said that about 1/2 the customers that got darker tint came back to have it removed due to tickets. I didnt ask how dark they went, prob should of. I just wanted to be legal without being hassled. It def would look better matching the factory rears and cargo, but what I have on is good enough and hard to see it. I had a meter maid write me a ticket about two weeks ago while I was sitting in my car parked because they said they didnt see anyone in the car, and she wrote the ticket standing in the front of my car. She didnt give it to me because I got out as she was putting it on my windshield.

I wonder if there might be some lenient police officers in this neck of the woods. All the Pats players have tints and there a quite a few that live around here, so maybe they just would rather bust someone speeding or worse. At least that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Now, what were you doing in the car and not seeing a meter maid start the process of looking at your plate and start punching away at their little P.T.A (Personal ticket assistant)? Hhmmmmm???

^^^Lol. I was actually finishing my coffee watching her wondering what the hell she was doing. I know around the Boston area where I was parked they do punch in plate numbers even when the meter is paid, maybe to keep track of the time a car was parked there or to maybe even catch people with suspended registrations or unpaid parking tickets.
