07 Wrangler - ESP/BAS, ABS and Engine Lights are on

I just bought a used 2007 Jeep Wrangler about a month ago. This weekend the ESP/Bas and ABS lights came on. The next time I got in the vehicle it acted like the brake was sticking or the ESP was causing me to lose power like when you spin out on ice. Now today the Engine light came on.

I have been searching online for an answer before I go to the dealer. I hate to say it, but as a woman, they often try to do a bunch of stuff to my vehicle that doesn't need to be done. I'd like to know what I am gettng into.

Many say it is a sensor issue that can be taken care fairly easily. Other's say it's a tranny problem that can cost a small fortune.

Anyone able to clarify?

Since the engine light is on what are the malfunction codes?

Check the ESP/BAS ABS fuse also.

If it is truly causing a driving issue you can disable the system totally by removing the ESP/BAS & ABS fuse. !!! WARNING !!! by doing this you will have NO ESP and NO ABS (your brakes will still work they just will NOT be anti-lock) So beware of your weather conditions!
