2008 JK Cooling Fan Problem

Hi New Member , Love My 2008 Jk , Would love help with my cooling fan it stayed on today and I see some melt when I took the conecter off the fan , also I here the relay turning on and off but think it is to often

the fan could be bad and pulling too many amps. I would also look at the cooling fan relay or module

Typically a fan staying on is going to be a relay sticking... there can be other causes, but but less common, without the relay going on there is no power to the fan (less a short to power in the circuit) so if it is staying on its typically because the power is stuck on with a failing relay,

Melting at a connector can be an indication of a poor connection, clean the terminals as best you can and go from there.
