Re: 2011 jeep wrangler 4x4 trans problems

Welcome to the garage. The P0731 and P0732 mean that the transmission is slipping in 1st and 2nd gear. The burnt fluid indicates that there was something slipping as well. The P1775 means that the torque converter switch valve is stuck in the torque converter position. This is a mechanical valve inside the valve body. Burnt fluid normally means problems with one or more clutch pack(s). This problem is normally caused by not enough pressure to hold a clutch, or just a worn clutch pack. You most probably will have to rebuild the transmission, but only by opening it up you will be able to inspect the clutch packs. You could take the valve housing out and check what is wrong with the torque converter switch valve.
