2012 Wrangler Unlimited water leaking in

my wife has a 4dr wrangler and she's been noticing lately (we've been having a few weeks of pretty heavy rain) that water is collecting in the footwells on both the passenger and drivers side. She only noticed because it's so much it's soaked through the mats. It's enough that she needed to take a shop vac to it to suck up the water. Has anyone had issues with this? I have a feeling its coming in through the frame between the front and rear doors. Hoping it's just a seal replacement. Any insight is appreciated.

Front or rear footwells? If front it is most likely the mucket seal, or the seal in that area. That's been a problem area for many of us. I slowed my leak down to a trickle by adjusting the front doors in a bit.

It's mostly in the front, the rear has a little bit. I actually spoke to the dealer yesterday and it's still under warranty so they're going to have a company re-do the seals. I guess they had a lot come back in for this.... now to get the musty smell out.....

Make sure they do all the seals. The dealer I went to last week only replaced the header seal and freedom top seals. Needless to say it still leaks from both the A pillars (I could watch water stream down the plastic trim from under the seam between the upper and lower pieces) and I have to return next week for round two.
