Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure the 1/8" stereo mini plug also won't charge your device. I think the Connectivity group is pretty worthwhile. Now power windows and locks I don't care about. The auto dimming rear view mirror is pretty nice however.

Use GPS at all? Bluetooth is really nice for using GPS.

Ever want to change the music playing through whatever cable you're connected with (or in the case of Bluetooth, not)? Too dangerous to try to do that with the device itself; instead, use the convenience of either voice commands (yeah, I wouldn't do that either) or the steering wheel controls to change up the music. Pretty good stuff.

When I eventually order my JKU, it will absolutely have connectivity - though it may be standard by then like a CD player was several years ago </sarcasm>. YMMV.

Couple questions for the Guru's

1- Are the floor mats the same on the 2015's as the 2014's? I know they changed something that's specific to the 2014's from 2013 - wasn't sure if they are the same here though. Wanted to order some rubber mats so they are here and ready

2- Same thing basically for the vacuum pump that's mounted in the front bumper - still there/in that spot for the 2015's - wanted to get the relocation bracket on order as well.

Thanks for any info

First post here. Ideally, I would wait for MY2016 purchase. If Baja Yellow looks good on the lot, I'm not sure I could risk missing out. Typically, what is the warning timeframe when a color is to be discontinued? I would want to get a JKU order in, but push it back, as late as possible. Thanks!!

Is it true that Amp'd has been discontinued? I don't see any mention of it continuing into the 2015 model year.

2015 will be exactly the same for the mats and vacuum pump. Mats were in fact changed from 2013.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Hello,
I am very new to the forum so I hope I am going about this right.

I have my order in for a 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock with the 24J package and some other goodies and I also want to install an on-board air compressor. Are there any suggestions of which compressor to order and a good place on the jeep to install it.

Thanks in advance!

Congrats on the order

I myself am considering an on-board air system later this year.

Was looking into one of these :: VIAIR Corporation - Quarter Duty Onboard Air System (P/N 10002) or VIAIR Corporation - Medium Duty Onboard Air System (P/N 10003)

I've been trolling around looking for mount spots for the tank and compressor - so far I've only come up with the tank going underneath near the driveshaft (in front of the emissions/charcoal box is - which would likely have to relocate or reposition) and the compressor near the battery in the engine compartment.

Those spots are all pending mounting and test fitments later on when I pull the trigger

Some people mount compressors near the brake booster/master cylinder - but vibration or odd-pedal feel has me concerned there ::

Thanks JCBO

I have looked at the VIAIR also and they sound like they would do the job. Not sure if I would need a tank or not. The tankless is suppose to inflate a 32" tire that already has 15 pounds of air in it in a couple of minutes, which is not to bad. I guess I'll try looking for reviews from guys that have already installed them and see what they use and how they like them.

Gotcha - you might have better luck on that info posting in a different section - but the VIAIR systems have always been great when I've used them. A tank isn't required on some setups - but can't hurt for instant air for tires, blow-gun air and of course train horns
