How long did it take to fix the Dozer problem? Is this a repeat of that situation?

Did they hold back the color during the dozer release as well?

I wasn't really active in the community at the time, but from what I've read, it was caught quickly. Only around 100 (don't quote me on that number) made it into the wild and fell under the recall.

The problem was a certain tint missing from the paint (in other words, the paint was mixed incorrectly) - adding that tint fixed the problem, so it wasn't like there was some low level problem that would cause the Jeeps to burst into flames after a certain number of miles.

I let my ex-wife convince me to go with an auto for my current Jeep (Liberty) in case she ever needed to drive it. Horrible mistake!! Was one of the very few things I hated about it.

I got that from rereading old posts, my thoughts from hearing that the color is going back for testing, 1. great they want to get it right 2. hold on that sends a big red flag up (especially not having any other information about the issue).

I don't think the hold is really color related. It's more of a lets get caught up issue before we throw a couple more colors into the mix. Basing this off of what I have heard.

Feel bad reading about people missing out on a color and hoping for a re-run the following year, but finding themselves empty handed. If there's such a short run on the non-core colors, I'm going to miss out on Baja.

Thumbs up re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Woo-Hoo, I'm out of D1. Currently going through "G" (trim). Archer, if you see a Hydro HR moving through, could you give her a gently pat on the hood, and tell her "Daddy is waiting for her"???
Order was placed 7/7 for those of you who are tracking movement...
