Yeah I think this was Willys Week, mine was built Thursday/Friday. I'm an hour from the plant so hopefully delivery is Monday or Tuesday!

Congrats! I think being in D1 status for 2 weeks is a pretty quick turnaround. Your was built the same day as mine and I went to D1 on 7/16 (I think). Glad to see yours made it through quicker!

What you "need" is a full tank of gas, a buddy, and a sense of adventure. The rest is gravy.

I have a tool kit, roof racks, Club, couple other security measures, Sunshade visor, locking gas cap, jumpers, door guards, stubby antenna, & some other odds & ends in a pile waiting for Hydro Blue to pull up.
I'll pull the trigger on front, rear, & cargo mats after seeing what it comes with.
Trying hard to stop buying crap for now.

Ok, I just bought my first part to modify a Jeep that I can't even order until September 8th... Some might call that a problem. I prefer to look at it as spreading out necessary expenses.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

So I ordered my 1st Jeep today! Sahara, 2-door, 6-speed, BAJA YELLOW (w00t!), dual tops, 430n with 9-speaker system, heated leather seats, etc., etc...

I'd like to thank everybody that has contributed to this board. I've spent the last 3 months lurking on this site, learning more than I ever thought possible about buying and owning a Wrangler. Be cause of you, I was able to go shop and buy with the confidence that I'd get everything I wanted without overpaying. I became a full-fledged member last week, and I look forward to commiserating with others as I wait (and wait and wait) for my new baby to be built!

Btw, I was told that the Baja was on restriction, but they could put the order together anyway. They seemed confident that the restriction wouldn't last very long.

You let your Ex determine the vehicle you purchased????? Wow. I have heard of WAF but not EWAF.

Next time he should clarify that but all in all just a big LOL at the confusion.

Flame me if needed, but I am a confirmed bachelor. New F-150 this year, new BMW F800GS this year, new Baja JK-6 speed later this year or early next (likely order January 15 my birthday); no WAF for me. I had a neighbor once ask me, "Your an accountant right and your not married and have no kids right? Well then what do you do with all your time and all your money. . ." He didn't quite complete the last sentence.

Flame suit on.
