I was thinking some of that ungercarriage rubber type spray in cans. I can tape off the areas and do a little better job. I just don't know if it will stand up over time.
Search on Facebook, or online for "oil undercoating of NH". I've heard real good things about these guys from friends and family, and think I'll give them a try with my new RHR. Not sure how long it last, but even if I need to do it every few years I think it's better than that thick goop that builds up in areas you don't want it too (like tires, rims, hinges, etc.).
Edit; only downfall is it appears to be a yearly application. But at around $100/year, I think I would prefer that to the rubberized spray on coatings that cover everything in goop.
