I guess $441 will buy a lot of pressure gauges.

Thanks, Pat, I do appreciate it.

If you like yellow, Baja is your color. It's really bright. It's brighter than the yellow they ran a few years ago.

Baja Yellow is to the old yellow as firecracker red (rc) is to flame red (r4)

Thanks!

Just make sure they check mark DM8-code for 4.10, and know there is a charge for it that will be shown on the invoice when it is built. $495($441)

Thanks Pat, but I'm still a little confused.

If that code is not checked/entered what happens? do you get 3.73 gears and the invoice on the vehicle is $441 less??

That's correct, auto trans has 3.73 unless you select the 4.10. Invoice will be $441 less if you do not select 4.10

When I was mulling a JKU purchase in 2011, I winced whenever I passed a Detonator Yellow Jeep. Now I think its a thing of beauty. Is it along those lines of brightness? Thanks!

Maybe Pat's blurry picture is just the thing!

As long as we're not in school bus or taxi territory, I'm not quite in panic mode. Though that photo of the matching highlighter was a little bit of a setback for me, emotionally speaking.

Thanks, Pat and Archer, for mustering together the affirmation.

We're prolly good - I've always leaned toward obnoxious, and I'm too old to change now. I'd've gone gecko if I coulda.

I have first-hand experience with this 4.10 business. I wanted it and the dealer said it was included automatically on the Rubicons at no charge and after confirming that it was not on my order through Milous almost a month later I had to go back to the dealer and have him put in a new order. If you order, don't leave the dealer without seeing the "Priced Order Confirmation (POC) sheet with "DM8" on there. It may or may not show a charge for it, but you have to have the DM8 on the order form. See attachment. Hope this helps so you won't add an additional month or month and a half to your waiting time.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Are there any thoughts or opinions on how to obtain the best pricing on a 2015 order?

I'm close to putting in an order for a MY15 Wrangler and I've been rolling ideas/strategies to get the best price for my order. The most logical and least time consuming method involves a short email, with build details, to internet sales managers in a ~150 miles radius and hope one gets aggressive with their pricing. Has anyone beaten down this path and had success? Is this a realistic approach?

Are there any other methods I should consider?

The email method is exactly what I used and I got 4% below invoice. Definitely worth a shot.

If you don't have a relationship with a Jeep dealership already, than this May be your best approach. But as another member stated, it also depends on your market in. If your in an area where they push a lot of wranglers, you ability to negotiate will be much more limited.

I only dealt with one dealership and was able to get close to 6% off of MSRP on the final price. Now granted this will be the 3rd vehicle we have gotten from them in the last 5 years ('12 GC and '14 ram) so the sales manager knew us well and negations were much easier.
