The Rubicon comes standard with a 6-speed manual and 4.10 rear gearing.

If you opt for the AUTO then you get 3.73 rear gearing and have the option to get 4.10's for $495 (MSRP).

Wouldn't that be 3.73 front and rear gearing then? I'd hate to be the owner of mismatched gearing front/rear when putting it in 4WD.

If you need more, on page 307 azjb linked three in post 3681 but later removed them. However two of them are still active in post 3682 where I quoted his message before editing.

The good news, if you find an earlier build like the one above, you get the 3.73 for free. Bad news, if ordered one and it has not been built, you will be paying for it.

Now THAT's a slick deal for those who score one FREE.

Indeed, now I wonder what my window sticker will show.. As long as the 3.73's are there I'm cool, a freebie? Now that's the cherry on top.. Expecting my jeep to be built in the next week so we will see

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Talked to a local tire shop yesterday. They offered to take my P255/17R18 Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S tires off my hand for $600 when my Jeep arrives at the dealership if I buy the set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO LT275/65R18's that I want to put on it. I'm only planning on buying 4 tires since the radius is the same on these tires. The only difference is the width, 11" vs 10.2".

Can someone confirm that those Bridgestone tires are the correct ones that will be arriving on my Sahara. I used Tire Rack OEM tires from the '14 Sahara guide to figure out which tires would arrive on it.

Also it sounds like I should use wheel spacers for these new tires since I'm going to keep the stock rims for a while. Is this correct?
