The 730N can do split screen, displaying two things like Map and Turn-by-turn directions at the same time. However, Turn-by-turn directions can also be displayed on the EVIC so that might not be all that important.

The 730N can do "dead reckoning" which means it can continue to navigate with the loss of GPS signal (tunnels, urban canyons, etc).

The 730N can do "bread crumbs", recording your off-road trip and then guiding you back along the same route.

The 730N can do "traffic", but you have to pay for that after the free trail period is over. Though, since you are "TrafficGuy", maybe that is really important to you?

Both the 730N and 430N can only use "real" map loads (forgetting about "iffy" hacking of maps on the 430N). Even though the 430N is Garmin based, it doesn't have the standard Garmin micro-SD card slot. So you can't just buy a $30 TOPO map load on a micro-SD card and slap it in.

For just my opinion, I got the 730N, but now feel I should have gotten the 430N. Everything else I use is Garmin based, and because of that, I think I would have enjoyed the 430N more.

Great info. Thank you!
I saw on the Uconnect site that a Garmin update will be available in October. How does this get downloaded and applied on the 430N? Thanks!

Since I ordered early in August and received a POC with my name on it as a sold order, it is my dealer's understanding that I should be protected against the price increase. However, my dealer is saying that the invoice to them is showing the higher price.

Does anyone know the procedure we need to go through to qualify for the price protection?

I think Pat has posted this info numerous times in this thread. I just finished reading all 352 pages, so not about to go look for it, but try searching this thread for price protection...

Start on page 320, and go from there. Good info.

I too have read all 350+ pages of this thread, so I apologize if I have missed the info I'm looking for. After searching and going back through previous posts, I found a lot of information about what qualifies you for price protection, but I have not seen any details on how a buyer/dealer actually goes about getting the lower price applied when all qualifications are met.

As I said, my dealer is telling me that the invoice to them is showing the higher price, so I'm guessing it is something they need to do on their end.

You are ahead of me, I'm in D1 and showing in paint still. If everything goes smoothly it looks like I may have it 5 days earlier here in NC though!

The way this reads to me is that your dealer needs to handle it;

Chrysler Group LLC under the DealerCONNECT system within 2 calendar days of the sale.
EDIT: I asked my dealer about it and they said they have had to do this before, it's not a big deal...

Kinda funny. When I pickup up me Willys I asked for the recovery kit that is shipped separately to the service department. They had no idea what it was. The box was there with labeling specifying who it went to. The funny part is there where at least two dozen boxes of kits there that where never given to customers. So most jeep buyers don't realize that the kit is included and the service folks would rather trip over them then to give them to their rightful owners. I also got the for tool kit.

Makes me think and start worrying about what I won't receive...
What loose items should come with all models?
The Freedom top bag (hardtops) and the little top removal tool kit, I know.
Anything else? Grab handles maybe?
Just want to know what I should be looking for when (eventually) I go to get my Jeep.

I believe just the Willys Wheeler and the Rubicon Hard Rock come with the recovery kit.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
