I was saying you have to sleeve and guest the 44. You also should sleeve the dana 30s. You can buy a after market housing which is much better but they run around $2,000. I would also say the ring and pinion is stronger than a dana 30 but maybe only like 20% range.

I don't think I have seen more than a couple 44's break with 35's tbh. I've seen more stock lockers get stuck though....

I actually saw this one in Greenwich. Didn't have dealer plates though. Maybe bought by a local. I drove by it and was glad I was in my anvil JKUS...

I remember when the Dragon edition was first shown at a show, and it was told that it would be only available in Asia (China), there was a rather major/loud uproar over it not being offered here in the USA. Jeep conceded, and made it available here too.

I am sure that there must have been those inside Jeep wondering where all those voices went when the Dragon failed to actually sell.

Probably a bunch of Chevy or Ford people trying to get Jeep to throw some money away.

Yeah, there are those people. The kind who are all enthusiastic and then when it comes to putting their money where their mouth is they have made themselves scarce. First time I looked at it I thought, "This will only appeal to teens in Chinatowns, much to the chagrin of their elders, should one appear in the driveway.

Was the uproar from the USA, or Asia?

Let me get this straight...

Are you saying that you cannot "wheel" a Rubicon unless you sleeve and gusset the front axle?

Oh I haven't laughed that hard since I was a little girl. Thank you...

I took those off the first week I bought my Jeep which was in Dec '12. Almost 2 years later and never had a problem.

Not even a hint if the second kit may also have "3 inch" somewhere in the description?
