AEV uses the Brandmotion kit and adds the rear taillight to the mount. You can buy the Brandmotion kit for $50 less than AEV if you don't need it. It's nice because of the mount and the flash module which prevents you from having to take it to the dealer to flash the radio. This is the kit I am leaning toward, but $650 is a lot and I am not sure I wanna tear up the dash of my new ride.

If you have a link to that pic I'll take a look at it and let you know if it real.

Not jeep specific, but I'm running a lockpick with an Amazon backup cam I'm my 13 Challenger. It works great and cost a lot less than $650.

I'm not 100% but I don't believe the wider AEV fits in the opening of the current Rubicon wheels. I went with and installed the Brandmotion one in my 2015 Hard Rock a couple weeks ago. Part number 9002-8827. There is (or was) a discount code for 25% off posted on another forum that starts with "Wrangler". That made it much more palatable. I also found the same camera, from Brandmotion, for less $ on Amazon.

Installation was pretty straight forward although I routed mine a little different through the rear door. I can elaborate if you need to know more. Plugged into the 430N just fine and the flash module worked as advertised. Taking the dash apart was the easiest part! Definitely get some trim tools for the door sill parts. After using the flash module, there are two options added to the 430N settings, one that activates the camera when in reverse and another that gives you about 5 seconds of additional viewing after you switch out of reverse. The resulting image is okay, perfectly usable but not high-resolution or as good as my Mazda's OEM camera. I think the resolution may be more limited by the 430N screen than the camera.

Overall, I'd definitely buy it all over again although it felt like a big pill to swallow even with the discount. Much easier/safer backing up now and I love the camera angle versus some of the bumper ones I researched.

I'm having this camera flush mounted into a LoD bumper that I'm buying, once it's flush it will be painted and shipped to me. I plan on using the my gig lock pick once they approve it for the '15 models. My dealer works with an aftermarket shop that does a lot of Jeep Builds and they will mount the bumper, run the wires and flash 430 unit.

I'm going with the lockpick for anytime cam access, that allows you view the rear cam when not in reverse. Also supports interior baby cam and front cam as well. At $15 a piece I plan running those cams as well, lockpick also allows for while driving Nav entry & DVD play back while driving as well.

I could do the Install my self but this is my first jeep and I am unfamiliar with dash & don't to rip up the interior my self with out know what's underneath. Shop is including the cam install into the bumper install as well as some other work I getting done, pricing was very flexible and again their dealer recommended.

Feel much more comfortable having a shop that is experienced with Jeeps doing the work.

The AEV system is a rip off, that $600 could go to so many different parts. Lockpick and (1) cam should cost about $250 range.

It has the same wheels and white interior accents that came on my 2014 Polar.
