While others are focusing on the Air Filter and the Refrigerant, I am going to ask about the Humidity Sensor.

Is the Humidity Sensor new for 2015? It isn't listed as being part of the Auto Temp Control option on my 2014. Or was it there all along, but simply night highlighted (spelled out) on the sticker?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what's a humidity censor? Or better yet, what's the advantage of having one.

If it helps, I purchased the air filters off eBay for $18. That included the 2 you will need.

What two black colors? The only black that I know about, is simply Black (PX8).

If it works like at home, it will run the A/C compressor, but not to cool but instead to remove the humidity from the air. I guess for those days it is more muggy than simply hot.

great detail......how did you come about it?? I'm still stuck in the dark ages. i write down the number of miles and divide by the number of gallons. (long division of course), all on a scrap of paper.

Judging by the dark ages comment I am guessing you aren't a smartphone person but if you are there are some nice apps for this sort of thing. At first I thought it was silly, but you can put your routine maint in there as well and then update your odometer each time you fill up. That way it keeps a log of your MPGs and throws reminders if one of your interval items comes due (oil change, tire rotation, etc.)

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Haven't seen this tip posted yet so thought I'd share: I want to see tank & baja live at the dealership but the jeep.com site isn't updated for those colors yet. If I search for all and then look for the results that have errors for the picture, however, it lists the color as either baja or tank. Hope this helps someone.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I just looked at a new 2015 Wrangler Willys Wheeler the other day at a local dealership and I noticed that there was no fabric sound deadening material attached under the hood like my 2012 Rubicon has but rather it was just bare metal. Is the 2015 supposed to be like this? I know that when I bought my 2012 Jeep was forgetting to equip some vehicles with this, so is this the case for the 2015 as well?

Some get a hood pad, some dont.

Domestic Sports and WW do not get hood pads.
