Quick question as the weather gets colder and the snow is a about to drop. Can someone tell me is the electronic stability control already on automatically or do I need to turn it on. Thanks.

It is on unless you are in four wheel drive low range.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I believe the default is ON. If you look at the bottom row of buttons in the center stack you should see one on the right with an icon of a skidding car. That button is used to turn it off... and when off there should be a little yellow indicator lamp lit to show that.

Oops... that's where it is on my GC. Didn't notice you were asking about the Wrangler. I'd have to assume that the default is ON in a Wrangler as well.

Actually, that's the quick & dirty answer...you really ought to read page 477 of the 2015 owner's manual on electronic stability control (ESC) to get the full range of what it does.

Thanks for that, I thought so but just wanted the confirmation. The owners manual didn't say specifically that it was on.

Not yet, but I'm looking. I really like that color.

Sunset, CB, and the new X model are all coming steady now.

Keep an eye out for a Sahara cubrn with black/saddle interior.
It would make my day.

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster - I'm planning on ordering a JKUHR in either Hydro Blue or Bright White (still trying to make up my mind on that one) very soon.
I called the incentive phone number, I was told I needed to talk to customer service, they transferred me there, customer service tells me I needed to talk to the incentive dept, lol - after being on hold almost 20 minutes, the lady comes back on the line and says "There are no incentives or coupons or anything for the Rubicon, sorry."

Needless to say, I know that wasn't true, but she kept saying that she could assure me there is NO incentives on Rubicons. I was pretty bummed (seeing how well this has worked for others on here.)
Fast forward to 5:30. I come home from work, check my mail and low and behold, a golden ticket was sitting in my mailbox!
I should call that lady back just to prove her wrong, lol.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

So I just noticed something while building and pricing a JKUR on jeep.com
It seems while the Dual Top Group is $2,185, there is the option of instead ordering the Freedom Top Black 3-piece Hard Top for $995 and then the Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top for $400. That gives you all of the components included in the Dual Top Group, but for $1,395. That's almost $800 less than ordering the Dual Top Group! Am I missing something here? I'm about to order soon. Can I really save by ordering the tops separately? If so I won't hesitate to specify this with my order.

Can't be done that way. The $995 for the Freedom Top and $400 for the Premium Soft Top are the premium you pay over the standard vinyl top in order to upgrade to either top. If you won't both from the factory, you have to go Dual Top Group. You're paying $400 to upgrade the soft top, and $1785 for the hard top; pricy but worth it in my opinion.

I don't think there are really any Rubicon specific incentives. Are you sure your "golden ticket" is just for Rubicons?

One might need to speak Customer Service-ese when calling, and stick to keywords they might understand like "Wrangler incentive" or "Jeep incentive".

It was the same rear locker that comes on the Rubicon. The Moab back in 2013 also had the same rear locker option.
