No driveshaft included... I'm guessing that may be part of the price difference? But it is the exact part number... huh?

I'm guessing you can get the lift kit without the drive shaft if you don't want/need it. Once we get some specs on the drive shaft we'll all know if it's worth the extra $500.

The info like everything else Jeep/Mopar releases is preliminary.

Thanks for all the awesome info you provide! My Hard Rock is in "D1" status right now (whatever that means) with a delivery date of 12/01/2014. It would be pretty sweet to have this lift installed with a factory warranty!

Double the price for a dealer installation ya looking at about $3500-$4K after everything... Personally I'm gonna opt for AEV, more lift and If you shop around you can get it at a decent discount.

I have a friend in the parts dept, just gonna tell to keep one of the crates at customer doesn't want. Throw him $100 for his efforts and I'll have a new table for my den haha.

Also 2.5 & below doesn't void the warranty FYI.

Thanks pat for the info!

We charge 6 hours labor at $95/hr and include an alignment. We decided to be competitive with some of the shops around us. I wouldn't rule a dealer out until you ask.

Updated invoice pricing--Pat, Milous, anyone?

I know the Auto Trans, 4.1 axle ratio, a Alpine Audio had price increases (50 bucks each for the trans and axle, 100 bucks for Alpine). Did the previous invoice prices increase by the same amount, or something different).

I am trying to get my info straight before I head into my dealer. Thanks

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I have a question,
I am awaiting delivery of a JK 2-door sports. When it arrived at the dealership there will be snow (I'm in Canada). I'll go get it with my current vehicle is with winter tires 265 / 75R16. These tires are almost new and I want to put them on my jeep for the return trip (300 miles).
Question: Does the four original tires on the jeep (optional for sport model :245 / 75R16) will be able to enter inside the jeep 2 doors with the back seat down? I can not put it on the seat of passage because my wife will be with me.
thank you very much

Pat, any reason an employee discount code won't work on the lift kit? Also, any idea if it could be purchased piecemeal? Say someone wanted the Springs instead of the whole package?....

If Mopar is going to claim that the lift flexes as much as most 4" kits, then I'm going to suspect the driveshaft replacement is required for a 3.6 equipped Jeep that sees trails.

If I translate that correctly, you want to know if 4-5 stock tires will fit in the Jeep with the seat folded? Yeah, you should be fine. I'd bring a couple ratchet straps to hold them in place since you don't want them turning into projectiles in case of an accident.
