Thanks for this.

Jeep ordered last Thursday and I'll order seat covers Monday.

IIRC, the Neoprene seat covers have a very strong smell for the first few weeks. I'd like to air them out a bit before I install them.

2)no added lumbar support that I'm aware of, but the newest seats are pretty comfy (2013+)

2 again)front headrests have a 2 post attachment. Can be removed easily.

3)pretty sure driver's side seat height adjustment is standard on Rubi

4)single bench on 2 door, 70/30 split on 4

5)2. And 2 seatbelts. 4 door has 2 headrests and 3 seatbelts

Yeah, and that's one reason I'd consider some Trek Armor or Marathon Cordura covers instead. Along with the fact that they don't fade like neoprene.

I don't think they are available on the base (non-S) Sport and the base (non-W) Willys.

Yeah, that would appear to be the case.

I've seen this question a few times. It was answered in another section.

Interesting that production would be pushed back... seems like that would mean something significant is changing (engine?) to allow supplies for production to get online.

The top rumor is that Jeep is continuing to have problems with the new DI engine and needs the extra time to attempt to work out those kinks. We'll have to wait until customers start to accept delivery of the 2016's with the new DI engine before being able to tell if Jeep succeeded or not.

Curious to see what the performance gains will be. I just ordered a 2015 and won't wait for a 2016. The Pentastar is already light years ahead of the last engine and I don't see DI making that much difference.

What is the Di engine? Is this new in 2016 to the wrangler?

DI stands for Direct Injection. One of the ways to get slightly lower emissions and slightly more millage, but at a cost of complexity. Other than for that, it will be the same 3.6L V6 currently in use.

Its on the list of possible changes for 2016. It would be the most significant change for 2016.

Finally able to get my 2015. Found on the lot with the exact options I would have ordered. Starting price just went up this month. Able to find this one that had the older starting price.
Color is exactly what I wanted.
