Whats this:

Quote:
Package Value Price 3827 4300
Is that the Rubicon X package?

These glitches make it seem like it's not safe to order yet.

Yes that is the Rubicon Hard Rock (formerly Rubicon X) package.

Thank you. That's what I thought. This whole experience thus far is very disheartening. I'd hope customer service and the ordering process for ordering a fairly expensive truck would be better. But maybe we're just trying to push the envelope with getting orders in too soon?

Yes its early for us consumers. It is really meant only for dealers which is why they are still ironing out the order system and no jeep published pictures or advertising will be available for a few months. I am just waiting for the new colors to open. Especially since they pulled granite out from under me.

What is the story on the 4.10 gear ratio for a regular rubicon 2 door with manual transmission? When I bought my 2012 rubicon the 4.10 gear ratio was standard with the manual transmission, and now I understand it is no longer standard and is a $500 option for all Rubicons? When did this happen and are there any other "original" Rubicon options that you are now required to pay for?

For 14 the 410's were standard with a manual and a $500 option on automatics. Each year they find ways to up the price...

I thought it was standard (no additional charge) with the manual Rubicon (and Hard Rock) and an upgrade option with the automatic... unless there is a new change this year.

Update regarding RC9 audio system as a REQUIRED option on the Sahara and Rubicon:

I've been told that this requirement may lift starting with ordering next month (July 9th).

2015 Wrangler Information Thread

Couple updates on my end:

First, thanks to whoever posted that file in a better sharing location. The one i used was the quickest I could get after having 20 personal messages asking for it. Hope its helpful.

Second, anyone who downloaded it probably realized I didn't include destination charge. Also no sales tax license etc. Add as you wish, destination charge was 995 I believe. My dealer included it in the invoice price and then took the discount. I didn't figure they would do that when I built my spreadsheet but I suppose that makes sense.

I had put in a charge in the sheet for the 4.10 gear ratio per the order guide. When my dealer placed the order he advised me it was included with my package even though I have the automatic transmission. Any one know what will happen when they fix that, i.e. will they cancel my order, notify me of the up charge, just not include it, eat the difference (wishful thinking ) etc?

Lastly, I would not be afraid to order now if you plan to. I could be wrong but I believe the only orders open are for sold vehicles. In other words, dealers can't order to add to their inventory at this time?

Now I just sit back and wait for the next three months or so... Painful!

Those of us who ordered at the beginning of the 2014 model year waited about 6-8 weeks....only the unlucky few who had their Jeeps selected for a more thorough inspection or those whose Jeeps were "lost" in transit had to wait longer....hopefully it doesn't take a full 3 months for you.
