re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Hello Everyone-

I am new to this forum as I am in the process of trying to order my first Jeep. I saw the specs in a previous post by Pat with prices and read that some people have already ordered their 2015 Jeeps. Where is everyone getting their data? I saw a post that said Firecracker Red is available and it uploaded on Jeep.com but when I access the website, I still only see the build and price with a 2014 model.

If there is any way someone could send me that Excel spreadsheet floating around I would REALLY appreciate it. The current filters on my network don't let me follow the link.

*I was going to buy a 2014 Sahara Unlimited but since I can't drive it for a few months anyway I decided to go for a 2015.

Also if your getting a manual transmission Rubicon, it comes standard with 4.10s. The only way to get the 3.73 gear ratio is in the automatic and that's if you don't op for the 4.10 gears. I'm not really sure if there's a way or option to get a manual Rubicon with 3.73s

You CANNOT get a manual Rubicon with 3.73s. 4.10 gears are standard.

I don't believe that the Jeep.com website will be updated with the 2015 models until their official launch in early September. Firecracker Red is there, now, because it was also available on 2014 models late in the model year. Jeep seems to change Wrangler colors on the same schedule as they change underwear.

welcome to the new age!

I think it still has one. They just don't show it in the pictures. You can still see the the mount on the side of the Jeep in one of the shots. I got all excited for nothing!
