I stared at that M/H for quite a while too.

Super-helpful configuration info in that guide.

Went to test drive a rubicon and talk to dealer yesterday. Basically wanted to drive a auto wrangler since my last one was a stick anyways while I was talking to general manager I saw him look up a pdf of the american brochure like the german one that got posted on here a few days ago. Anyone know a link we can get that from or anyway we can get that posted on here. Again thanks to everyone who helps contribute on here and I plan on coming to talk to pat as soon as sunset opens up he is just a few hours away so I def want to give him my business

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Here are the three angles I am thinking about using up here in Alaska when I go to order. (FYI for non-Alaskans: dealers charge insane prices up here because there is little competition)

1) Tread lightly aka the AR (affiliate rewards). This is my last resort option not because it isn't a good deal but because I have read that people are able to get even better deals on ordered jeeps. Again, we are in Alaska so that may not be the case. I don't have any Chrysler dealer experience up here so hopefully they are amiable to this option because I have read about dealers in the lower 48 balking about the tread lightly.

2) emailing. Apparently people are getting better than 1% under invoice while ordering by sending an email with an itemized invoice sheet for the exact Jeep you want (Google it or ask around how to get this if you are unsure) to all the dealerships in their area and asking who will give the best offer. Apparently many dealerships will ignore you and some will respond. Sometimes people get really good deals this way especially on on-the-lot vehicles. BTW in the Anchorage/MatSu area we have Anchorage Chrysler Dodge, Lithia Dodge in South Anchorage, and Lithia in the Valley. I don't know who is a good dealer and who isn't. If anyone has any experience with them I am all ears.

3) Costco. You can buy vehicles using a discount Cosco program. Get the pamphlet from the little rack at the entrance to Cosco and call the number on it. They have pre-negotiated pricing with Costco on all kinds of vehicles and will point you to a dealer that they work with. All you have to do is show the dealer your card. I have read of people who got good deals on this but I am not sure. I will look into it before I order.

Anyway, I hope that is helpful. Please let us (or me via PM) how it goes for you as I am curious about our dealers.

re: 2015 Wrangler JK Information Thread

When I order a new Jeep I would love to buy in Colorado/Wyoming/Alaska and make a road trip back to the Seattle area. For Alaska, my dealer of choice would have been Genes in Fairbanks. I have assumed that all dealers have to honor affiliate pricing but maybe they'd be tough to work with?

As much as I'd love a road trip from Alaska over the Alcan and back to Washington State, that may be too much of a time commitment. Also, I would need to do this starting in two weeks or wait a full year. One is too soon the other too late.

Have you ever reached out to Gene's? How are they to work with?

Will the 15 Willy's finally get a side airbag option?

It's a dealer option, mine did not honor the TL discount.

I believe it was offered later in the 14 run, Pat or Milous should be able to confirm that.

The Willys K package is based off of the Sport B package and side airbags are not available. To get side air bags you have to go to the Willys W package which is based off of the Sport S package.

Thanks,

The filler piece is standard on exports.

I was told it is illegal to have the front tires exposed between the flare and bumper like we do in the states. maybe true, maybe not.

Can you get navi with the Willys W? Also is 4.10 now being offered again for this series? I noticed it's no longer available as part of the 14 original online build.

Finally is the 9 speaker system and leather seats available as well in the Willys W?

Thank you

No navi and no to the 4.10 and leather. Not sure about the 9 speaker system.
